Ville de Luxembourg city is multinational, multicultural, polyglot, multifunctional, multidimensional and multienvironmental, so the city’s tagline sums up its identity well. Luxembourg represents multiplicity.
The “multiplicity” logo conveys this identity, by focusing on the people who contribute to making Ville de Luxembourg incredible: the people who live in the city, who work there and who visit it. The three ‘i’s represent the numerous people who make up the city’s identity. The three colours of the letter ‘i’, which can be modified, mixed up and adapted according to the requirements of the logo, represent the diversity of cultures, tastes, aspirations and expectations.
(A city and capital that is small in international terms, Ville de Luxembourg is a truly enriching place to live, work and visit. It is flexible, human, regional, cosmopolitan, green and industrial.)
